I'm reading Slash's bio, "Slash", that's how I found out about this show (GREAT read BTW!!)  I don't know how many GNR fans we have here, but count me among them.  This show is nothing short of PRECIOUS.  Filmed only maybe 7 months after their debut, Appetite For Destruction, was released and as expected, that record completely dominates the setlist.  Say what you want about these guys, but they certainly did write some great rock 'n' roll anthems, and they certainly could play their instruments.  They also do a rousing version of Dylan's Knockin' On Heaven's Door, which didn't appear on record until 1991's Use Your Illusion II.  Being so early on, of course this is all five original Guns members, and damn, this band is just hitting on ALL cylinders!!  Because it was an MTV show, audio and video quality are excellent.  An approx one hour show.  ENJOY!!  Oh by the way.........Guns N' Roses are back together and currently on tour with three original members:  Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.  They do an extensive European run this summer, then it's back to the U.S.  I've never seen them, just wishing they'd add a stop in El Paso.

I don't even want to have the conversation about it.' And in my grief and in my loneliness and in my desire for connection, it just felt so painful. And I look back now and I'm like, ‘Oh gosh, thank you so much God for protecting me.'”
