That is sweet. Yes when the previous generation in your family is gone it makes the world different and maybe you feel more vulnerable. I certainly felt that way after my parents passed and I have one aunt (95 years old) and no uncles left. 

Gregg Allman was an exceptionally talented man and gifted singer. His brother Duane was the founder and drive and inspiration for the band but the band wouldn't have been complete without Gregg. 

Gregg and Dickey Betts wrote the song book for the Allman Brothers. Songs that continue to impress and delight many over 50 years later.
