Well, finally had the chance to listen to this album and it's awesome!! Great singer, player, etc. Great songs!! Not a bad track on it!! Nice to hear him getting to sing more on his own album.
I bought it too at the show they did in my town back in the summer. Keep it in the car. Derek Trucks is on one track and it was recorded at Derek and Susan's studio.Â
Duane Berry Oakley plays bass on it but Pedro was the bass player at the show. And Duane Betts had to bring in a new guy on drums.Â
Duane and Johnny said when I asked about Allman Betts Band that they were all still good friends and they had some shows on the books they were doing later this year.Â
Oddly Duane Berry Oakley wasn't part of it. He was on bass for Marc Ford earlier this year but not now.Â
it's a great album
Excellent record --- Duane was kind enough to gently peel back the plastic wrapping on the LP I bought at the show so he could sign on the actual album cover, just enough so I could pull the wrapping back over it if I wanted.
