Loved this show on Thursday. I'd never seen D.N.C previous to this and I believe they've only played the UK once before, in the early 90s. Featuring the excellent Warner Hodges of Jason And The Scorchers on guitar this was a rocking night. Never known what to make of Kevn Kinney's voice on album ...and there was squawking aplenty, but the guy seems to have a way of drawing you in even when you're not familiar with the tune. Didn't recognise a lot of the set to be honest, Build A Fire and Fly Me Courageous aside. Warner leading the charge through a rip roaring version of "Absolutely Sweet Marie" was a highlight. I didn't realise Drivin' n Cryin' was still a going concern but there's a new album and I'll certainly be investigating further.
