That is a jammin' song. Dickey had a knack at writing those rock western swing boogie numbers.
Good twining the melody by Dickey and Dan.

This is an old Strat Dan Toler played in the mid to late 70s. When the got the ABB going again in late 1978, Dickey gave Danny the Les Paul (sunburst) he was using when Fillmore East was recorded. Danny sold that guitar and I think a guy in Japan got it.

Anyway I think I like Dan Toler better with a Strat. He used a red one during the last years of his life and he has his own sound on a Strat but to me when he played a Les Paul, his licks and tone often sounded too much like Dickey.

Warren played a Strat and a Paul Reed Smith but more often a Les Paul in the 1990s and he always had his own style and sound with any of his guitars.

I remember being 3rd row center at the Calderone on this tour. WLIR broadcast the show.
I believe this version was a couple of days later at the Capitol over in NJ.
Fun times.
