i was there! lana sent out a quick note to the enewsletter base. i dropped everything and went. dickey sat in the back to watch a bunch. got to say hello and shake hands. got three songs in i think. Liz Reed and Jessica for sure.

a couple other notes from this show.
- the show started at 9. and it was les, his brother and a drummer. that was fun to see. but as it got toward 11 pm, i was like, shit, dickey is not showing. glad i waited it out.
they also played jessica. les did not play with dickey. he just watched.
when they were done with that, the trio came back on to play. dickey stood near the entrance of the iridium and just watched with admiration. it was a cool scene.
one funny quip that was just missing in this video: les said, "dickey and i used to get DRUNK together." and everyone cracked up. that's what led to the conversation at the beginning of this vid.
