Dickey at The Peach 7/22/18

I have seen video from each and every show they have played so far and up until the Peach every show was a complete train wreck. He looked and played 1000 times better at the Peach both on guitar and vocally. Maybe this was a sober show? I hate to even broach that topic but the disparity in how bad all the other shows were and how much better that one was is rather large. Should be interesting to see if future shows are more like the bad ones or the good one. I hope they are like the Peach show.
We'll see him in August at the NY State Fair.
This weekend we get Devon Allman Project in Syracuse.

What are clams?
Small freshwater oyster-type things.
Are they like oysters rockefeller?

Hi Lee. The old big band and jazz bands called missed and bad notes "clams". A clam is still used by some musicians to describe a bad note during a solo.
Huh, never heard that one before. Clunkers maybe but not Clams.

Certainly great to hear some of these positive reviews. I'm happy for everyone there and good to know the band was really pleased with the performance as well. Keep it up Dickey and crew!

Thoroughly enjoyed this set at peach. Not perfect by any means but great nonetheless. Was loving life during that set. Great weekend all around.

I tell you what....that photograph of Dickey in the Rolling Stone article is one bad ass shot!
Great to hear about Dickey!!!! Nice photo too.
Just wondering why Rolling Stone put this under "country" music section.
