That's a pretty sweet lineup, and really cool to see Dickey on the bill of one of the ABB's festivals. It's interesting that The Peach Fest has eclipsed Wanee as far as the lineup goes, it's become a bigger attraction the past couple of years. Maybe because it's a Summer-time festival?

I'm gonna second that emotion... Strong line-up. Great to see Dickey coming back. I hope he has a new band. Most of all I wanted to draw your attention to 'Organ Freeman'. First off, best new name for a band in a long time. Brought a big smile to my face when Stephanie, Warren's wife, introduced them to me via her Sirius show. Jazz/Funk trio that just smokes. If you are HammondB3centric, this is your band. I'm not going to Peach, but sure wish I was!
I think it is a given that Warren will probably play most, if not all of the set with Dickey and his band. Since when has Warren not sat in with just about everyone at fests similar to this? My big question is who besides Duane Betts, will be playing with Dickey for the other 9 or so shows he is planning this year. I am getting the feeling he's not throwing the last version of Great Southern back together. If he gets some top notch players that will push and challenge him, I think his short run of shows will be something special. If he slaps Great Southern back together or just grabs guys who have openings in their schedules, these shows can go either way.
I am so glad to see Dickey playing this gig, hopefully a reunion of Dickey, warren and jaimoe happens again .
