I drove up to the beautiful town of Frederick, MD yesterday to watch Del McCoury's band performing their new album Del and Woody. Woody Guthrie's daughter asked Del if he would be interested in putting music to lyrics that her Dad had written. The album came out yesterday so I've only had a couple days to listen to recorded tunes. So far I like them.

The show itself was great. Honest to God pure music. I think Del McCoury is a National Treasure and encourage you, if able, to go see him whenever you can.

Two real stand outs from last night's show were "I Need More Time" and "Working of a Building".
