Summer tour dates just announced:
Not usually excited about it, but they are coming to my town and my kids have heard "dad's deadhead stories" for too many years and are now old enough to appreciate it more and really really want to "go to a show", so I'm stoked to get to take them this summer! Passing the torch...
Not dropping what they want for that show. But good for Oteil for a nice gig. If I'm seeing Dead, it will be JRAD
I went to one of the recent MSG shows and had a surprisingly good time. Music and atmosphere was very fun and very Grateful Dead. Worth checking out.
I saw the 2 MSG concerts in November and the one at SPAC last summer ... I was never a GD fan before .... but now I'm hooked. Aiming for SPAC again this summer.

Thought about going when they came thru Charlotte after seeing Oteil & Friends. It looked like it would take $150+ to get in lower bowl. Man, could not pull the trigger for that. Should be less than $75 in my opinion for a good seat. Not the back of the arena. But hey they are getting it so why not charge it

.....and what a show it was in Raleigh. Weir’s voice and guitar was strong. Sweet night of music with 20k new friends in Raleigh. Wow. About three hours of bliss.
