Davy Knowles - Almost Cut My Hair

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I think he always does a fantastic job with this song. A good version is on the Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam live album.
When he opened for Warren (or Mule, I cannot remember at this point), I know they would do the song together sometimes. I am sure there are Davy/Warren performances of this song on youtube.

I'm standing in the crowd a few yards from Davy. Great encore. Moulin Blues Festival in the Netherlands.
I'm visiting this festival since 1988. Got canceled this year due to Corona. Bummer.

I saw Davy and Back Door Slam open up for Chickenfoot in Atlantic City 10 years or so ago, I've been a fan ever since. He did a great job doing a tribute tour for Rory Gallagher's music with Gerry McAvoy and Ted McKenna (RIP) and now Brendan ONeill.
The Band Of Friends w/Davy starts their US tour in September, while the European tour is supposed to be going on now with Stephan Graf and Paul Rose.

I saw Davy Knowles probably five years ago in a small Chicago club called Schuba's. Probably only a few hundred people there. Didn't even ask for my name on the list. Probably why there were WAY too many people in that room.
Anyway, he put on an awesome show. No Back Door Slam and I don't know if any of that band was with him that night but they sure were good!
After the show he actually sat at a table and signed anything people put in front of him. Didn't even have to be something purchased at the merchandise booth.
Great night.
