Time sure fly's.

Eric once said the 2010 event would be the last yet we got to have another in2013. 2016 has came and went. Has there been a confirmation that the CGF is no more that i missed? Not many left from the old blues scene but i would to see it continue and introduce up and comers.

I think those festivals have become tired, due to the fact mostly the same players. I have never attended one but I have audio and video of the first two and those are the best ones.

I attended the first one in Dallas, and that was an unbelievable experience to see all those players together!!! Have the others on DVD, and they're all great as well.

After the last one Clapton said "it would be a shame not to do one of these again", but more than 3 years have passed and EC is doing less and less shows so who knows?

I'd say it's highly unlikely that it happens again, but I'd love to be wrong on that.

I'm ready for the new Clapton documentary that's being released. Looks like it might be a great one.
