I didn't know where to post this but a figured I would do it here. If any of you follow sports (especially the NBA), you know who this is. Very colorful guy (literally and figuratively.) Well known for wearing these outlandish suits.

Well, he just passed away after dealing with cancer for a year or so.

I know this has nothing to do with music but he was a great guy.

God rest his soul. Nice man.

That's awful. His personality, class (and those jackets) will be greatly missed.

Sad that he lost his battle.

SI did a feature on him last year.

Great read and I'm not an NBA follower at all.

cancer SUCKS.

Sager has been an Atlanta fixture for over 35 years on CNN, WTBS, Turner/TNT and more. He also founded a popular Atlanta sports bar chain, Jock n Jills, with a couple '80s era Hawks players that had a great run. Met him there once about 20 years ago and he was as nice as all the tributes say about him.

His positive spirit during his cancer fight over the last couple years was inspiring. Great guy.
