I'm about 3/4 of the way thru his autobiography. It's interesting.

What's the status of your solo album?

I think that's coming out in September.

Is it totally done?

Just done, yeah. We're looking for the right time slot to bring it out. The Stones have been working so much lately that I've been holding off until we could find a reasonable time. I think it's September, but I don't know for sure.

Who plays on it?

[Drummer] Steve Jordan and me. We're joined here and there by [guitarist] Waddy Wachtel and [Rolling Stones backup singer] Bernard Fowler. Steve and I put it together.

I know you've been asked this a million times, but do you see a point in the future when the band will stop touring?

No, I never think about that. I leave that to other people.

I guess if Chuck Berry is nearly 90 and still doing this…

Exactly. As long as I feel like it and there's people to listen to it, we'll do it.

Older then that I think as he was a Pirate

Keef has the best line of he whole movie at 0:19 seconds IMHO

"Does this face look like it has been to the fountain of youth?"

1874 to be precise....I was there as a witness. It happened in what is now the small village of Croghan, NY. Keith was "touring" with a group of Gipsy's passing through town when he bumped into me at a local watering hole. We shared a few drinks, and he simply asked if I'd witness his selling his soul to the devil. I agreed, and the rest is history. Little did I know that I too would be granted immortality....Such is life I suppose. And chance meetings.

...seems part of the deal was for him to snort the ashes of recently deseased individuals periodically, regularly tranfuse his blood & rest in coconut trees (wasn't supposed to fall out) but...unlike other old rockers, he could keep his original organs.

So, just how old is Keef? Let's just say that Bill Clinton wasn't the first president that he played for.

Lincoln: So young man. Do you know any blues songs?

Keith: Now, if Edison would just show up with some electricity we could invent an amplifier and I could rock that beard right off your face!

Abe: Brown Sugar!

" Stole many a man's soul and faith" "pleased to meet you won't you guess my name".
People do not realize it, but there are some whose success and fame was a trade-off. The question was posed when did he sell his soul, and people joke about it, maybe he did. Why do they have words like that in the song?

I never liked that band. We had neighbors who used to play the Stones music and some of the kids would be out in the yard singing "I'm goin' to New York, even if I have to walk". We'd be wishing they would go, and stay there.
