I saw that yesterday after a buddy sent it to me. Terrific interview. Your friend did a great job as interviewer, which is what really made it a great interview. Bruce is Bruce, although he is starting to sound increasingly like an old curmudgeon at times. (Not in a bad way though.... more in a "get off my lawn" funny way.)

Looks like it was probably shot during the last part of December during our stretch of record high temps.

Thank you for posting this, I laughed so much, I had to keep rewinding it so I could hear all the jokes. Great interview, one of the best with any musician I've ever seen. I really wish I could have seen the Colonel on the ARU tour with Oteil and Jimmy Herring!

Are there any ARU shows/videos out there with Derek, Jimmy and Oteil that really stand out? Live albums? I don't know anything about Colonel Bruce, but I'm already hooked!

I agree thanks for posting. IMO the Colonel comes off as refreshingly normal for once. He is obviously a very intelligent and well spoken guy. I learned a lot. And the fact that the Colonel gracefully shared his opinion and wanted to learn something new at the same time impressed me.
