Incredible story, those guys.

Glad to have seen them a couple of times.

I saw the band open for Peter Gabriel in 2002 for his Ghosts Like To Travel tour. They were really good and had the crowd standing up. Good times.

Saw them open for Dickey Betts at the Syracuse BluesFest in 2003.

They were incredible.

RIP Clarence.

I saw them in 2000 with 3 living originals including Clarence plus a backing band of David Lindley, John Hammond, Danny Thompson (bassist) and Charlie Musselwhite who had all played on Spirit of the Century album that year.

Saw them again at Wanee a handful of years ago. Both were great.

Spirit of the Century, Higher Ground in 2003 (recorded with Robert Randolph & Family Band) and There Will be a Light in 2004 (joint album with Ben Harper) are all highly recommended by me.
