I couldn't believe that this existed when I read about it, but here we are. This apparently was recorded and released shortly after Dr John's version in 1967 and a year or two before Johnny Jenkin's classic version (with Duane and Butch). Other than Gregg's cringe-worthy performances on the Cher Show in the 1970s, there probably aren't many other songs that both the Allman Brothers and Cher have recorded/performed. The production ain't bad her, but Cher sounds like she doesn't really "get" the voodoo vibe of it all.

I think the only way that could of happened was when Duane/Greg+the hourglass? were in Muscle shoals to record the BB king Medley in April of 68,Which was the same month that Cher was there to record 3614 Jackson Highway. It was before he became a regular at session there from what i read.
