I bought the album " Soul Food " by The Word and it came in a card sleeve , the problem is I cannot get the cd out , I used a piece of paper towel to grip the disc and not leave marks and pulled and I wasn't being delicate I was pulling to a point where I was almost damaging the sleeve , it is actually glued to the closed end of the sleeve .
I was looking forward to playing it tonight but I will have to return it to HMV since I'm pretty sure I will destroy the sleeve getting it out and the disc will most likely have glue on it , anyone else had this issue ?

I have had two that were almost impossible but got them out. They were not glued though. Strange as the glue and the disc process are not at the same time usually.
I had to grab it on each side and squeeze to widen the opening and then pulled like you did. I imagine that you already tried that.

A whole millimeter? Are you mad? 😛
A friend just told me that putting it over steam for a few seconds expands it and the disc will slide out and will not damage the cover. But only a few seconds or the cardboard warps.
