As soon as I saw a thread from you Clay, I had mixed emotions about looking. It was so great to see your name back around here and at the same time I feared that it was bad news.

So sad to hear this. Skip has always been a first class guy and gave up so much time, effort and love for this group. My thoughts, prayers and an envelope are on the way.

Clay is one of the reasons that I loved this site and group and for those that may not know, he is one of the most generous guys to ever post on this site. Wish it was good news that brought you around Clay. You are a good friend and a good man as is Skip. You both deserve all the help that we can give.

God Bless Skip, family and all his friends. Good to know that he has friends like you by his side.

T-shirt ordered and donation sent.

I was deeply saddened when I read the notice on Facebook last night. Skip played a strong part in helping me through my own struggles in 2009. My heart and thoughts are with him and his family always, and I think of him like a brother.

What else can we do to help? Do we get the auction machine rolling?

Also, has this been cross-posted in the trades forum? I remember from my time there that a lot of folks go ONLY there, and may not read posts in Anything Goes or other general discussion areas. I'm sure just about everyone there has some music bearing the Captain Skipper Remasters name, and they might like to show their support during his time of need.

I will keep Clay and you in my thoughts and prayers.
