Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I loved these guys at first listen back in '91, I was blessed to be aware in the summer of '92. I caught one of the two High As The Moon tour Beacon shows for their Southern Harmony And Musical Companion album. I saw all 3 of the initial NY Brothers Of A Feather shows (Warsaw (Brkln), Rose Hall, & Town Hall (NYC)). I'm a big dopey music fan, I live in the moment, at times in excess and to a fault. This band caught my ears for a couple decades.
The human side will catch my eye too, I'll get sucked in past the music, the whole extended family view. When I lose respect for the artist it lessens my appetite for the music. These guys decisions, greed, and drama remind me of the Band. I don't want to relitigate any of it as folks are dug in, but the whole Robbie Robertson/Levon Helm/Richard Manuel tragedy seems small compared to the carnage of the Robinson Bro's/MFF, Eddie Harsch, Neal Casal, Gorman, + has a stench about it. I was a RR guy and liked Magpie Salute, but he dumped that for this. He's entitled to maximize his earnings and I don't blame him for taking the cash grab and it is with his brother, but it gets to be a harsh reality for others. Collateral damage of musical casualties. I doubt I'll attend any shows by them. I may follow from a distance
This BC's Shake Your Moneymaker tour seems to be a long term strategy, this 1st tour will be the complete 1st album with some others tunes thrown in, I guess they'll go album by album at least for their 1st 4 albums if they can folks to buy in?
I do plan on seeing Marc Ford's Band and Steve Gorman's Trigger Hippy. I'm gleeful that Marc is playing 2 nights in Conn May 16th & 17th and tix on sale this week for the City Winery May 19th. I believe Sven may be on bass?
That said Thanx for posting the videos. I love the BOAF stuff. On that full concert video from 2/29/20 the opening couple songs had me running to my old Strat that's tuned to open G. The same with the acoustic transposed version of Descending which was a piano heavy tune with RR laying down a nice slide to it on the studio album. The intimacy of the BOAF shows highlight RR's guitar work and watching Rich's playing on Jealous Again is nice sounding and fun to play. I have to hand it CR too, his vocals sound great, strong, fresh, & rested
