Always wanted to see Brit Floyd, turns out they will be a mile from my house this summer, so bought tickets just now.
At $35.50 per ticket, extremely reasonable, but - Ticketmaster and fees, jeez:

I liked the Brit Floyd concert over the Australian Pink Floyd Show. Both do faithful renditions of The Great Gig in the Sky.
I have seen Brit Floyd numerous times, you are in for a treat. Great Gig always gets the biggest ovation of the night, and deservedly so. They are superb players backed by a superb sound system and great lighting. It's not your average cover band experience.
I've seen Brit and Austrailian Floyd and can't really say which was better as both were very good and had great light shows. I saw Brit Floyd in a theater similar in size to the Beacon and Austrailian Floyd outdoors. Of the two venues, the sound and lights seemed more intense and had more of an impact in the theater. As others have said, you're in for a treat.
If the venue is so close you could have got tickets at the box office. They normally don't have fees. Enjoy the show.

Definitely the cheaper route to go.
