Breaking out the vinyl

I had a chance encounter with a school friend of my daughter's. He thanked me for being the neighborhood mom that played music instead of letting the TV play. He said, "I'm a George Benson fan today because of you. Most people my age don't know who he is."
This made my day.
So now I have dug out the vinyl and I'm listening to George. I wonder why it's been so long.

Good for you I am probably the only one here that can only play CD's in my car.

I too love vinyl. crack it out every Friday night. takes me back in time ...! My last set was BB King, Lani Hall, Keef Hartley, and Johnny Rivers. I know you aren't supposed to stack vinyl but I still do. Love the variety of the record mixes and the sound on headphones.

If it was a correct 72 Firebird option, I would have sourced one by now 😉

I have been getting back into vinyl more lately. I had 400 plus albums years ago and got rid of them for CD. After Cd it was on to SACD and DVD- Audio. But I have been getting albums that never can to CD. I like the sound of vinyl better, it seems to have a warmer sound than CD. I guess what goes around comes around.
