Friends, I am working on a book that explores the roots of the songs covered by the Allman Brothers Band, and the artists who originally recorded those songs (from electric blues artists such as Muddy Waters and B.B. King to earlier "country" blues musicians such as "Sleepy" John Estes, Memphis Willie Borum and more.)

I have created a facebook page (

), twitter feed ( http://twitter.com/unbrokencircleb ) and web site ( http://unbrokencircle.net ) where I will share updates on the book and related events.

If you enjoy music, especially the music of the Allman Brothers, please "like" the facebook page, “follow me” on twitter, take a look at my web site, subscribe by email (instructions on the facebook page and web site) and share this with your music loving friends.

Feel free to contact me with questions or suggestions as well!

You can contact me here or on email (brennan.carley@unbrokencircle.net)

As I am working on the book, I have been posting "outtakes" from my interviews. Some of the artists I have talked to have some great stories to tell, so I am doing blog posts of material that may or may not make it into the book, but which is still interesting to read.

The feed is: https://unbrokencircle.net/news/

The most recent was from an interview I did with blues harmonica player Billy Boy Arnold, talking about how he met Sonny Boy Williamson I: https://unbrokencircle.net/2016/11/25/billy-boy-arnold-part-3/
