I'm with you on Lamb of God,one the best Live metal bands I've ever seen. I try to catch them every time they come thru, they never disappoint. Interesting chart above, btw. (not sure I agree w/ everything on it though.)

The first 6 Sabbath albums are great and Metallica hasn't even made 6 great albums. (IMHO)

Sure Metallica is the bigger juggernaut of the two regarding record sales, what does that mean ?
I prefer Megadeth over Metallica by a mile. Always have & always will.

From a worldwide perspective, Maiden blows them all away. They make a hell of a lot more money touring the world than any other Metal band ever has for the past 10-15 years. They can fill huge venues where nobody else even goes. I don't see Metallica flying around in their own custom jetliner. You have to be making some substantial revenue to not only justify that expense, but sustain it.

Anyone mention Budgie or Sir Lord Baltimore ?

still remember their 1st N American tour with the opening notes of the song 'Black Sabbath'...it almost seemed like they were possessed while playing it. Never seen anything like it since. They're still #1 in metal to me.
