BK3 Archive

I have always maintained that one of the craziest shows I ever saw was BK3 in Eureka, CA back in Feb 2009 and i've never seen one of these online.
Kreutzmann, Burbridge, Murawski .
It looks like about a year ago, somebody uploaded the 3.6.2008 show to Archive.

Enjoy!

I have a few of their shows. The playing is crazy good, but I find the vocals a bit distracting to put it mildly. Would have been really interesting if they ever made it into the studio.
Thanks for the link.

While revisiting this band with that archive show, I too had the same thoughts: The jams are amazing but the vocals are rough. Funny that the memory I have of seeing them live is only the jams. I don't remember the vocals at all.

You were in Humboldt County after all... 😉

God I miss that place! 9 more years of student loans from that 3 year vacation i took up there and then maybe i'll be able to afford to go back!

I saw BK3 twice in Santa Cruz and I'm nearly certain the last one was that 2009 tour which you speak of. They completely blew me away both times. Personally I didn't think the vocals were all that bad, at least when Oteil was singing. He did a great Franklin's Tower (used to sing that with ABB) but also lead vocals on quite a few other tunes. Yeah, Scott Murawski isn't nearly the vocalist that Oteil is.
These guys need to hit the road again...........

I would concur, but if memory serves, he only sang lead on a song or two.
