As I'm getting ready for tonight's show, it's hard not to reflect on all the great shows, all the great performances and all the great music we've had the privilege to enjoy with the Allman Brothers at the Beacon Theater all these many years.
Of course, the narrative before, during and after all the show could never be better framed as through all the posts I've read on Hittin' The Web. Damn, you people say some funny stuff!
So to the band, thank you for the music and the memories. I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I know we got tonight together. It's all so bitter sweet.
