Stellar set of highlights from the 1998 Beacon run. Jack was so good and this lineup really gelled after a year on tour by this point. But it's really Oteil's bass bouncing around the room that gives this lineup a more organic feel compared the heavier Warren/Woody days.

I always thought the Jack Pearson lineup was perhaps the best post Duane/Berry lineup. Especially if having Dickey in the band makes a difference to you and it certainly does to me. 

Enjoyed these live recordings. Thanks. 

BTW we were supposed to get a Jack archival release and it was said they would let Jack select the show/songs. As usual in ABB land it never happened ( so far)! 

The RFK stadium 1973 Chuck Leavell/Lamar Williams archival release hasn't come out either so far.
