As we are just about to drop into that downhill rush to the end of the year, I thought I'd set up a thread for us to start talking about our best of 2015 picks. My preliminary list:

Keith Richards-Cross Eyed Heart
Ray Wylie Hubbard- The Ruffian's Misfortune
Warren Haynes-Ashes & Dust (Feat. Railroad Earth)
Jason Isbell- Something More Than Free
Blitzen Trapper- All Across This land

Yours?

The MFSL remaster of Crown of Creation, UN FREAKIN REAL ! The CDs so far have KILLED casady and buried Jorma.
Ronnie Lane and Slim Chance - Ooh La La - An Island Harvest should add this one to the misty-eyed thread, its a heartwringer. Oops, released in 2014. sorry

I am a huge Keith fan but I could not find one song on this set that didn't bore me - very flat to my ear. Maybe I need to give it more time, but surprised to see it on a Top 2015 list. What am I missing?

My wife likes Ashes And Dust. I like Eric Church's new one, Mr. Misunderstood, and the Winery Dogs, Hot Streak. 😛
