I’m surprised no one has posted that Berry and his family have lost their home in the hurricane. I tried a few times to copy and paste the article from jambands.com, but no luck. I’m computer/phone illiterate. There is a link to donate if you’d like. My heart goes out to him. Always thought he had the chops and voice to be in a more well known/money making band.

Note it says Berry Oakley is the FORMER bassist for the Allman Betts Band!!!
Not sure if Allman Betts Band is done but it does seem the recent speculation the problem in the band was Devon and Berry was correct. Duane Betts still works with both men here and there this year.
Too bad. Allman Betts Band was beginning to catch on somewhat.
