I grabbed this CD on a friend's recommendation and am really digging it!!!
It sounds like David Bowie pre-Ziggy, like 1970, or like a psychedelic Kinks album from that time.
I don't know much of this guy's stuff other than the radio hits "I'm A Loser Baby," "Devil's Haircut," "New Pollution," and "Where It's At."
I did see his band perform "Clap Hands" on SNL, and that was a stunning performance: they sit at a dinner table and perform the song using utensils. Really cool!!!

I have that Beck cd somewhere. good stuff!! really need to find it and give it a spin...I was disappointed to see your posted video was not Clap hands by Tom Waits....

Beck is actually quite good. I love a lot of his stuff, including Midnight Vultures, Mellow Gold and Sea Change. He also has a disc of him covering the Velvet Underground's first album, that is a hoot! Saw him live and it's a good show.
