Announcing the indictment of six police officers and enumerating their charges, including maximum penalties, indicates a strong message that there is transparency in this case. The coroner ruled it as a homicide and it will be prosecuted as such.

Let's just go right to the sentencing phase .

I thought by clearly indicating which officers were charged with which specific crimes and what, if convicted, the penalties could be, the prosecutor made substantial progress in calming citizens and demonstrating that the judicial process was solid.

Oh yeah...progress, eh? The prosecutor just arbitrarily decided to charge the police without bothering to have a grand jury examine the evidence and without introducing a shred of new evidence. That's not justice. How would any of you like to be arbitrarily arrested and brought up on charges solely on the whim of one politically sensitive and partisan prosecutor? It is wrong to have a rush to judgement in any form or fashion. If this process had been followed in Ferguson there would be a completely innocent policeman in jail. Even though our judicial system is slow, it works if followed a high percentage of the time.

Guess you missed the 5 pages on the Baltimore Riots; the Charges are a natural follow-up.

There's a music forum if that's your only topic of interest.
