We caught the Montreal show Saturday night after last seeing the band about 18 years ago. The first show was 2 hours of extremely loud, "screaming" metal what a different experience. The band has matured, grown an presents music from 8 albums. I've seen about a dozen shows in Montreal and they get a great, loud crowd that really loves music. Montreal crowd was fired up and set included Nightmare and Hail to the King. I heard over the set Metallica, Iron Maiden and even Eddie Van Halen influences. My favorite bit of music was an eruption like solo by Synyster. We were lucky enough to meet the band post show in the green room. My wife and M Shadow's mom went to HS together in California. I had nice conversations with M Shadow, Brooks, Johnny and Zacky. 

The parents, band members and team were all great people. Truly enjoyed the show although not my musical genre.
