Allman Brothers Band & Eric Clapton-In Memory of Elizabeth Reed

Great solo by Eric, his starts around the 7:25 mark. Has such great tone and balance in his playing when he really starts to dig in ,just hitting that sweet spot when its breakng up and and starts to get gritty(and I am not a strat single coil pup guy either:P). For not playing that song a whole lot in his life i am sure ,he does that song and solo much justice and beyond. Fits in so well, thats what the greats do! 😉
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I was at that show; and I feel this was the highlight of his two night sit in. EC is like a racehorse who needs to be pushed; and the ABB did just that. It is no surprise to me that he skipped this night one - he wanted to feel his way before stepping out of his comfort zone
