The Allman Betts Band brings world tour to acclaimed Cumberland Caverns Live
Group celebrates new album and 50th anniversary of Allman Brothers Band
MAY 21, 2019 (McMinnville, TN) — On June 26, acclaimed concert venue Cumberland Caverns Live, a natural southern wonder, welcomes The Allman Betts Band, a group with its own esteemed southern lineage. The show takes place 333 feet below the earth’s surface in the Volcano Room deep inside Cumberland Caverns, a venue Rolling Stone magazine ranks among the Top 10 spots for music lovers in the state.
The Allman Betts Band features Devon Allman and Duane Betts, offspring of The Allman Brothers Band co-founding members Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, respectively. The group is embarking on a world tour in support of its upcoming album. Live sets will include new music, songs from Allman and Betts solo projects, and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band.
Fans can experience this music like never before. The Volcano Room remains world renown for its near-perfect acoustics set against a backdrop of amazing rock formations, which NPR calls a “natural beauty.” Beneath the room’s signature chandelier, guests experience world-class talent and a host of amenities.
