All You Need Is George (tour) w/Berry Oakley Jr
Interesting line up. Jackie Greene, Steve Kimock, Berry Oakley Jr, Peter Lavezzoli, Gil Assayas.
Wilbury's, Beatles, solo
Gonna check out the Bethel NY show
is there a link with the tour dates?
I'd love to hear Berry do the Doctor's Daughter, but I am guessing this is not the format for that. Still, he's awesome and I always like seeing him
Is it just me or does it seem like there are more and more "super-group-esque" acts out there, at least in the jam / rock world?

Not just you; they seem to be everywhere for any number of bands. When I was a kid, there were Pink Floyd and Doors tribute bands occasionally, but nothing like nowadays
Posted by: @aiqI like Kimock’s original mostly instrumental music, had some lessons with him at Fur Peace Ranch.
These days when he goes out with that hard to fill even a bar.
Dead stuff, Otiel’s Dead/Allman cover band, Beatles thing the crowds show up.
Sad.
One of my favorite venues, State Theater in Falls Church VA, heard Jimmy Herring Band, Pat Metheny, Victor Wooten, now solid tributes.
Death of creativity, death of the future.
Make new music, support new music.
Berry Jr. played on two songs the first time I saw the band at the Greek Theater in L.A. in 2005. Good times!
