ALBERT KING with Dickey Betts sit-in 1976

Not sure how I never knew about this one, two of my favorite guitarists sharing the stage. Dickey sits in on "Blues Power" and a "Southbound" style jam. It's not stellar, took Dickey a couple verses to match Albert's (out of) tuning, but it's nice to hear Albert speak on the ABB as he brings Dickey up on the stage.

I was very pleased to have gotten this show widely traded on this site (mostly the Blue version). I was in disbelief when I spotted it on a list from a guy I'd never traded with before, I was looking for unique Albert King shows (might have found it on Phishhook can't recall for certain). Once I was able to obtain it I sent it right off to Captain Skipper who did one of his remasters on it. Other than being stunned actually stumbling upon it, was that the source was a college radio station, WNYU. Back in those days college stations were limited to 10 watts broadcast strength, which is next to nothing. So, either someone on campus or very nearby had to have recorded it! Damn glad that they did!
