Some may not like this because it's very domesticated. I think it's a really beautiful and heartwarming tune.

Her amazing voice comes to the forefront again. Man has she ever got some beautiful pipes!

Just an FYI, Alanis' husband's stage name (and I believe what he goes by also) is Souleye. He was a starving rap musician here in the Bay area, Santa Cruz. His career never went ANYWHERE. I have no idea how they met. I guess he has a pretty good job now: Househusband.

And yeah, some here already know, but for anyone who doesn't: My brother Jason Orme has been one of her guitar players for 19 years. In fact, he's the senior member of her band, the only surviving member of her 2001 band. The other guitar player is Julian Coryell, Larry Coryell's son. It really blows my mind that Jason is on the level that he is.

1) No. I didn't know about your brother. I guess that's him playing in the background?

2) We needed this song right now. Fantastic to see her with the family, and the lyrics are very touching.

3) Screw Rolling Stone. Their reviewer probably only listened to "Jagged Little Pill" and tried to force his mind into looking for that edgy screaming voice.
She's grown up, her life around her has grown up, her voice has matured, and she has kept that little inflection where when she sings, you know it's her.

Great song, great video.

cool
Good song. Got the new cd and enjoy it
Feel good video. With all the bad stuff you hear about celebrities it's good to see one with a happy home life

We had tix to see her in July - postponed until next year.
