I posted last fall about how I tried to get Adele tickets for my wife.

So now I am going to look on stub hub.

Two questions:

Has anyone who did buy a TM Adele ticket have them in hand by now?

Also, I've never used stub hub for anything. How reliable generally are the sellers and tickets people sell on there?

I've used StubHub for many, many sports events (especially in the Royals dark days when you could get a ticket for $2.00 :P)

Never had an issue. StubHub guarantees the ticket to the absolute best of all of their ability. I know that a lot of folks see any ticket broker as Satan Incarnate, but I've always been a very satisfied customer.

Stubhub is as reliable as it gets. If the seller doesn't come come through, they will usually upgrade to better seats than you originally purchased.

I bought my brother a pair in Oakland and that file came already. My MSG seats I think are coming in July.

Stubhub is safe and reliable.

Someone has to say it, may as well be me - Adele ?

Just kidding, to each his/her own.

Never used stubhub, go back to what you were doing.

If you gotta go through a broker they are the best broker. I've used them many times including for the last ABB show.

I, like Bhawk, have used them for sporting events. You can almost always get Redskin tickets for less than face value.

Check out Uberseat.com I don't know if they are related to uber the cab company but they list many of the same tickets as StubHub, but with much lower fees.

I'm not going to the Adele show. My wife loves her. I've spent so much on concerts over the years I can't keep her from wanting to go to this show. It is really the only concert she has ever really wanted this badly, she is usually pretty indifferent.

She'll be traveling to go and will be there without me. So if the tickets I got were fakes and they didn't let her in she'd be lost on what to do.

Thanks for the uberseats link. It does seem like some of the prices are more though for same sections and rows, they don't charge fees, but maybe somehow they are just built into the price? After the stubhub fees they are about the same price on some. I do like seeing who the seller is. Although, who is uberseat, wonder how that works with uberseat being listed as the broker on several listings.

I don't know anything about uberseat. But my experience with stubhub has always been solid. When you print or recieve tickets, you are given a number to call if you have any issues with the tickets. But I wouldn't worry too much about buying fraudulent tickets from stubhub. Even if their tickets are a couple dollars more than other broker sites, I feel more secure.

I have never had an issue with Stubhub at all.

One new thing Ticketmaster is doing is on high demand shows to slow down scalpers is they are waiting until a week or two before the show to ship out the tickets. I'm not sure about the print at home tickets as I like to have the actual ticket, so I never do it that way. Hopefully they are doing that for print at home tickets as well.

Of course that isn't stopping them from pulling back tickets on their own and giving it to the resale website that TM owns.

I have bought and sold on stubhub and never had a problem. I have also used ticketliquidator.com (for buying only) and never had any problems.

I went to see Adele last night with a female friend who asked me to go with her.The show was absolutely fantastic even though I only new a few of the songs the two hour performance was excellent from start to finish.
Her voice was faultless her patter was very natural and funny with a lot of swearing. Not sure how her British humour will go down in the States ?but I would go see the show again if I had the chance.

If you look at the websites for various ticket brokers (including Stubhub), you will usually see many of the tickets listed are for the exact same seats. Brokers apparently have a way to pool thier tickets, so they can be lsited on multiple sites.

The prices will vary from sit to site, as will the fees.

If you find such an exact match, the price will be lower on Uberseat than Stubhub, or most other brokers, because of their fees. Don't forget to compare the shipping fees that are added on when you check out.
