I have two, a peach on the back of my neck and an ABB with peach on my arm (own art). But, I am done with tattoos (have 5). After all I went through on meds beating Hep C, I do nothing that has even any potential risk. Someone will probably comment "but they use new needles every time". There is more to it than just that, as blood can get on other things. It all depends on the sterilization procedure of the shop. Since here in US, 3-4 million Americans have Hep C, rest assured it will be entering a tattoo parlor at least semi-regularly. With proper procedure all is good, but getting a tattoo involves having faith in their procedures.

Having said all that, please:
It is like a medical procedure. If the shop is not clean, they don't wear proper attire, and it doesn't "feel" like a place that takes it seriously, or has flaky seeming employees, LEAVE.

Ask questions about this stuff of them. See how they respond. Again, LEAVE if feels wrong or they give flip response.

Good Luck and don't get me wrong, tattoos are cool, but improper procedure most definitely has risk, so find a good, known, reputable shop.

Head shops that also do $10 Piercings scare the heck out of me.

Half dollar sized mushroom on my right calf.

Got it for my 50th birthday, my youngest daughter bought us ink for the occasion.

Hi Darren, I have an ABB mushroom on my right ankle/calf and a Quattro Dose on the inside of my right forearm, both done by SAZ in Warrington. He is one of the best in Europe.

I don't support tattooes because God forbid doing that, but I found this story and want to bring it to your attention. If you have any spare $$$ and want to help out this woman's cause, it could could help women who have been enslaved in the seemy side of life.
