Great show that day with Sheryl Crowe,Big Head Todd and the monsters,Blues Traveler and of course the ABB topping things off.Hard to believe it's been that long..

i saw them 2 days later in Columbus, OH. life was never the same afterwards.

I was at that Columbus show, too!

I dragged along a big time Deadhead buddy who was just getting into taping. He said, "The Allmans let you record!" so after the show we went back to his place and I convinced him to burn me a copy. He was reluctant bc it was so late but did. The tape had to play in real time so we re-listened to the WHOLE SHOW again.

He beat himself up about the levels and certain other technical things I didn't understand. To me they sounded like heaven, though. I cherished those tapes and wish I knew where they still were....

Dennis Hamm if you're out there, I love you for that brother!

Make that 3 in Columbus as I was at that show as well in the front row. A great night.

saw them a few nights later at Pine Knob.....great memories of that era of the band....even sweeter was the 3 show run in the spring we got at the state theatre downtown...the only multiple run of shows that I remember in Detroit....god I miss those years ..peace
