I just downloaded this, converted to a WAV file and tested for MP3 with Traders Little Helper. It told me 95% probability that it was an MP3 source. I also noticed that the 285MB file size was rather small for this show. Is there a true WAV>FLAC that I'm missing?

This is a cool performance! An unique setlist, two songs with unusual endings, and three of my very favorite ABB songs in a short show. I wouldn't have thought there was any more undiscovered Duane stuff out there. What a great surprise at a hard time for ABB fans.

I can't believe how good this sounds, playing it over and over while painting the kids rooms.

Thanks Anthony.

Someone had mentioned a possible edit in Whipping Post at 10:38 in this thread but now I cant find the post. If you listen carefully you can hear a constant timbale beat by Jaimoe that starts around 10:30ish, this continues into Mountain Jam intro pretty seamlessly and the tempo seems pretty consistent. I DO agree that it is an odd Whipping Post ending but definitely NOT an edit. I hope everyone has received discs by now!

I posted that maybe there was an edit because of the way the drums dropped out, but I listened another time or two and decided I was wrong. So I deleted the post. They do silence their cymbals kind of quickly, I think, but you can tell from Butch's tympani playing and the other changes in the lyrics and arrangement that they were definitely playing a short arrangement of Whipping Post with a quick transition into Mountain Jam. I wonder if they played it that way during other short warm-up gigs. I didn't know they ever played it that way but it sounds well-rehearsed.

Agreed, exactly what I was thinking. Yes, Butch's timpani, not Jaimoe's timbales like I stated incorrectly above. Like you mention, I have never heard it anywhere else like they play it here.

Hey Anthony - trying to figure out something to send as a thanks. Do you like Jimi Hendrix?

Never heard of her, is she country or western?
If you must send something, Jimi would be greatly appreciated. I'll keep an eye out.
Thanks!

Thanks Anthony or Bob_o or whoever put up that download link!
I've only listened to a couple songs and it sounds so good. I've grown up with Derek as I'm about his age and I think he's the best in the world and what he does. That being said, it's amazing how hearing a Duane solo for the first time puts a smile on my face that just doesn't happen with Derek's solos. With Derek, it's more like a "hell yes, that was awesome!" and with Duane, it's more like "man I FEEL fantastic after hearing that!"

Ok, well I can't send Jimi, can't risk getting busted at Greenwood Memorial, but I will come up with someting.

anthony, thank you for the music! Package received.

Is the losless version making the rounds?

Has Masahiko Yamaura's remastered version hit the streets, or hit the download links yet?

First trial has finished but I found serious problem with it, input volume seems to be changed by recorder a few times after Whipping Post started, so I trashed it and started again.
I can only work out on weekend because my office work is very very busy but I think I can release my remaster within a couples of week or so.
Please wait for some more time.
