To make the Top 35 in such a huge field is quite an achievement!

Due to Axl Rose's inflated ego he should take up at least 3 entries in the top 10 all by himself.

27. Johnny Ramone

Despite his tough guy demeanor, Johnny was known as someone who always made time for his fans, never turned down an autograph request, and constantly pushed the band to (his words) ...Always give the fans their money's worth..."

If he was hard on anyone, it was the Ramones themselves but this was a band that definitely needed a leader who made sure that the train ran on time.

The fact that he is on this list just shows how little thought actually went into it .

Yeah, the inclusion of Johnny Ramone on that list surprised me. I can't recall ever reading or hearing anything about him being major league A-hole. Maybe it has more to do with him being a Republican?

Such a list that does not contain Yngwie Malmsteen and Nuno Bettencourt is incomplete and therefore invalid.

Most people thought that Johnny Ramone was a bully inside the band and was constantly tough on Joey. I think that is where the rating comes from.

Mike Love was #6.

He should have been top five just for his R&R Hall Of Fame induction speech.

Neve met Nuno, but I DID meet YM.

Yngwie needs to be in the top 5. Total tool.

Not that I can say from personal experience, but I've often heard Kimock, Charlie Hunter, Buddy Miles (a bandmate of his said he wouldn't piss on Buddy if he were on fire) & Paul Kantner belong somewhere on that list. I & everyone else heard Buddy Rich scream at someone in the crowd for no apparent reason at a small club in Albany, NY around 1981.

Miles Davis didn't make the list. I figured he'd be top 10 for sure.
