I went online to buy tickets for TTB in today's pre-sale. Using Safari I attempted to purchase one ticket for Saturday's show at the Warner in DC. I signed up for Applause, put in my address, then credit card info, then the site crashed. I did it again. Same result.

I move over to Chrome, signed in, the site had saved my credit card info, and I got a ticket.

I was concerned that my credit card had been charged for the two other attempts. It wasn't, but I don't like web sites saving my credit card info. Seeing as it is AMEX I'm not worried about losing money, just the hassle that results from a site getting hacked.

As mentioned before the seat is not specified. One of my favorite aspects about the Warner is that you get to choose your own seat. I know the venue and the sound and would have liked to been able to pick my own seat.

All that said I decided not to use the pre-sale for the Friday show. I'll wait until the Warner sells the tickets and I'm able to pick my own spot.

Just one man's experience.

I'm happy TTB is playing two nights in the District. I'm also excited about next weeks show in the beautiful Carpenter Theatre in Richmond.

I did Ryman today and it went smooth. I am not a fan of not having an actual location but Ryman is so hard to get tix for I figured I would do it seeing maybe twice I have ever bought Ryman have I even landed in the tier they were offering.

Congrats tbomike!

I was only offering constructive criticism. I'm sure I'll be happy with my seat. I'm sitting in the Grand Tier balcony in Richmond and looking forward to that perspective of the band.

The Warner's balcony is a little too raked and uncomfortable so I'm glad I've got a good orchestra seat coming. The Grand Tier at the Warner is sold by subscription. Then the up-sell folks in the balcony the unused seats for an additional $50. I hope I get lucky on the Friday general sale to avoid all that mess.

I'm very happy with my seat assignment. I'm 10th row center aisle on Saturday night.

I used the Live Nation pre-sale for Friday night and have 3rd row balcony, center right aisle.

I like that I'll have two great perspectives.

There was a previous thread about Applauze, including a very nice response by TTB to some complaints:
