Yesterday, when it was too late to post, I recalled (from another website) that Duane Allman would have been 74.
There's no way to calculate his impact on music. I hope it lives on forever.

The road goes on forever, & so will Duane Allman’s influence on music - he did so much in his short life, as the Skydog box set shows
