Well, try and make it if you can. Carin and I are going there for dinner, drinks and music. You don't have to get there at 5:00, that is just when they open. The guy playing is really good. Just an FYI, if you want to see an actual concert, go there early and get a table. They come around and ask if you if you want to stay. You just pay the ticket price. Got your seat.

We went to a party at one of the neighbors - our neighbors are moving to Tennessee, so it was a going away party for them. We have been blessed with a lot of good neighbors.
Going out to dinner tonight with friends that live near Phoenix - if we have time may go see Smiley Tillmon at my favorite microbrew.

This weekend hasn't been that bad. In the low 90s but no humidity. By Tuesday heat index of 100!

I imagine in New Orleans it was probably great. Mine was deep fried and they put pickles and tomatos on it. Lots of hot sauce available but you didn't really need it.

Buddy Guy's was a lot of fun Friday night. It reminded me of when I used to go in there years ago and I felt like a tourist. Took a bunch of pictures. I was hoping Buddy might show up but he didn't when we were there. Harmonica Hinds was fun. I forgot that I have seen him before, I figured at Blues Fest and when I talked to him he said he used to play it all the time. Food was great as I said and nice to get into the city after work hours.
