Mule was fun last night - great seeing Lee, Julie, Randy, Shawn and my brother. Also ran into meandean there. Jason Bonham was also great.
Yes, last night was great. Sang, many thanks to you and Mary for hosting a wonderful party. You have a beautiful home. Although the St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia is an acquired taste. 
It was kind of like a flashback to getting together for an ABB show in Chicago or New York.

Have been doing both those things today actually, and a few more chores to boot ... getting the house ready / childproof ... my elder son, Dale, and his wife, Sarah, are arriving tomorrow along with my three grandsons for a week long vacation with us ... really looking forward to it but I think it's going to be tiring ... gin and rum stocks are fully replenished

I have a turntable/cd burner device that transfers vinyl to cdr, comes in handy for cds that are out of print or records that may never have been issued on cd. In honor of the day I just might transfer a couple.

I bought mine a number of years ago. I'd imagine you could Google something along the lines of converting records (LPs) to compact discs or search Amazon too. Mine is an ION LP2CD unit described further as USB turntable with CD recorder. Before this one worked out I had one or two others (not ION brand) that I quickly returned for refunds because they were just hunks of junk. This one works well. I have a nice separate turntable for playing records through my amp but like making the cds so I can play them in vehicles, on a pc etc.
(Just checked Ebay too, there were two that were identical to the unit that I have, didn't read the overall descriptions as to whether or not they were new versus used and/or in good working condition)
