Oh - and today is our 39th anniversary ... my wife knows me - bought me a bottle of bourbon for it ...

Gooooooooooooooooooood 'ol National Beer Day!
In honor of such a glorious day, THB just told me she was able to get a 12-pack of this in Indiana today:
I might have to keep her!

Had a nice Easter yesterday ... cleaned the deck so I can paint it today. Then outdoor golf tomorrow and Wednesday, last indoor golf Thursday.

It seems spring may have finally decided to stay around for a while. Mid 70's today in the 80's the rest of the week. Got a much needed rain last night too.

Shot an 88 in my first outdoor round - 1 birdie, was hitting the ball pretty well. Off to a microbrew/restaurant later. Down 31 pounds ...

Painted the deck yesterday, then washed all the screens and windows - very productive day.

Happy Lazy Ass Thursday! Going to see John Mellonhead tonight at The Chicago Theatre. Probably tomorrow too. Never seen him before as much as I like him.
Couple of things.
They cancelled their two shows in Milwaukee right before coming here. Apparently there was an illness. But the shows are still on.
The second thing is I looked at his setlists for this tour. Almost the same set every night, even two nights in the same city. So I don't know that I need two nights of the same thing. We'll see if he knocks my socks off. Can anyone say Dickey Betts and the setlists?

One other thing about tonight's show: First thing tomorrow morning I am supposed to take a drug test. I have no idea but I wonder if being at a concert when people will more than likely be smoking could affect me.

Need to work on that short game do we? I watched some of the last day of The Master's Sunday. Actually I rather enjoyed it. Never thought I would say that.
Congratulations on the poundage!

Played again today - played outdoors Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, played indoor Thursday. May have to wait until next Wednesday to play again ...

My nephew is getting married today - should be a fun party ... 🍾

Chilly, misty day temps near 40 had been really nice up until today. Warmup starts tomorrow.

That's highly unlikely.
(No pun intended)

High winds aren't unusual here but today? Boy howdy! If it ain't nailed down it's on its way to Iowa. I always laugh if I have golf on (for something like The Masters) and they're whining about the challenging playing conditions due to a 15-20 mph wind. That's relatively a light breeze here.

Gooooooooooooooood 'ol Sunday afternoon! Had a long week. Went to two baseball games when the temps were in the upper 70s. Right now it is in maybe the 50s and raining. And coot, don't tell me about the wind. Try living next to Lake Meeechigan!

Wasn't an issue at all. Now the White Sux game yesterday was a whole different animal. That place can be nuts. Apparently there was a brawl of of some sort but we didn't see it and we stayed to the end.
Had a horrible commute home. The train stopped and the train operator came over the intercom and said we were stropped because of a body on the train tracks. Got off the train and had to figure out a way home.
Gotta love the south side of Chicago...

My nephew and his bride really lucked out on the weather - the wedding was outside Saturday, and it was almost 80 degrees. Some rain came thru the area, but only for about 10 minutes and a couple hours before the ceremony. Cocktails were outdoors, then the dinner and dancing was indoors. Beautiful venue they had for the wedding. Yesterday it actually snowed a little here and was very cold.

Goooooooooooooooood 'ol Blah Blah Blah Day. Perfect place for it!

Nice day today, weather bouncing all over the place the rest of the week, some days in the 80's, some in the 40's a couple of overnight lows below freezing. The dog was nice enough to take me for a walk earlier.

Played golf today at 9 - it was very windy and a little cold - nicer now though

Wow! Laziness knows no bounds. Listening to NMAS from 4-1-2000 at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit. They opened for Mule. One of the better concerts I have been to. Marc Ford played most of Mule's set.

Happy Friday!
Sang - If you think about it, please tell Lefty and the guys I said hello. Haven't seen any of them in years. This is one of the rare times when I wish we had a car. Too bad he doesn't play Chicago when he comes back home.
