coot - you might like this. I've been going through my CDs lately to kind of cull the amount of space they take up and I ran across a couple of interesting things. I found two Fogerty shows that Bobo sent to me. Both had nice notes. Also found one from wott. Of all things it was the set from moe. at Bobofest in 2005. I kept the shows and notes.

I likewise have kept notes from Bobo, Space Monkey and Captain Skipper. Mailers too, just wanted to hang onto them. Not long before John's accident he had graciously agreed to do a video editing project for me. I'd sent him the shows and enough blanks to make me and him a copy. And then sadly, he was gone. Several months after that I got everything, along with a note, sent back to me by his sister. I still have everything, the note, the discs and the mailer just as it was returned to me. I've kept it together as a remembrance of him and his kindness toward me.

@oldcoot

That's very sweet. Never knew Skipper but I met him once at an ABB show. Nice guy. And the work he did was amazing.

Glad we got to meet Bobo. He and I communicated a lot even though we had never met. I think he was really touched by BoboFest. There are some nice pictures on this site from our time that day if you look up the date of the show.

Well, my daughter took her car back in.   They said something about a hole in some vacuum part.  They replaced it (for free) and so far the check engine light hasn't come back on.   Wondering if that was the original problem - but just glad it seems to be working.

They will obviously hold out as long as possible to see wott the best deal they are offered. That is, unless they want kid defensive edge from Alabama.

I've been transferring my ABB shows to a hard drive. What a job. I've been working on it off and on for a couple years. I'm only up to 1993

Hiya Bill -

I have 9,785 and I should be done. Only thing is I can't find most of my Instant Lives and I have quite a few of those. I am also missing my favorite Mule CD, Live With a Little Help From Our Friends. And I know I have a ton of live shows and boots so I am missing a box somewhere.

It took me quite a long time so I was putting in a lot of spare time, burning while watching a game or doing other stuff around the house. Working on some and typing setlists and stuff all the while "listening" to my wife. Nonoise

If I looked at it correctly and my math is right there are 13 games left. Interesting to me that there are no lines posted yet for this week. Not just on Yahoo Sports but anywhere. I don't recall that happening before. Vegas has to have these already one would think.

Saw the spreads yesterday. From memory, Buffalo -10 1/2, LA Chargers -1, Cincy -6 1/2, Dallas -3, SF -10, Minn -3.

Had Georgia loaded last night, can't remember the last time I covered a bet by 45 1/2 points. Shocked

Missed on the semi-finals but nice to close out with a win.
