We are lucky that the wind has changed direction for us and instead of coming down from Iceland, which gave us freezing conditions last week, it is now coming up from Spain and we have +45F today rising to +50 on Christmas day ... the downside is that it has brought lots of rain with it so still not pleasant to be out and about ...

My Xmas was okay. Engineer fixed the heat which was good. Now due to the cold someone's pipes froze and broke so water is spotty at best. Would like to know who did it. 
I was able to take a shower last night and the commode works for some reason. So at least the last part is okay.Â

My daughter's car has been at a Midas for over 3 weeks, so she has my wife's car. Real pain with only 1 car.  It is supposed to be ready today, but they have been saying that for a week. It's almost too late right now for us to go get it, even if it is done.Â
