Since it is brunchtime I would kick it off with an English muffin and a side of Canadian bacon followed by a Cuban sandwich.

Those are good!

My daughter's car is in the shop (maybe for 2 weeks waiting on a part) so she has my wife's car - wott a pain only having 1 car!  We don't do a whole lot, but we are already finding conflicts for when we need the car.

Kick-off was 7pm here so I had a baked English potato stuffed with Mauritius tuna mashed in French mayonnaise and with Italian chickpeas on the side laced with Mexican chili sauce ... that was probably the best thing of the whole affair ... always the bridesmaids and never the bride it would seem ... now drowning my sorrows with some Cuban rum ... Salud !!!

I guess the problem is that your wife doesn't want to play golf every day?

Lazy day - got caught up on a week's worth of newspapers.  I get it online, so I tend to forget to read it, unlike when I got the  physical paper.

I was out late last night - went and saw the rest of the guys from Lefty's old band at a local pub - hadn't seen them in a while - it was fun.

Looks like we'll dodge a really nasty snow storm later this week. Next to nothing due here, other parts of the state maybe 2' of snow. No thanks.

Lee, I think you somewhat follow Purdue sports, watched the Huskers/Purdue roundball on Saturday, Huskers darn near whipped 'em. He's a really formidable player, but I swear if they ever make another Addams Family movie, Zach Edey is the perfect Lurch and he wouldn't need any appearance changes. Surprised

Oh you guys will find this story interesting. Kind of long. Yesterday morning THB and I went to breakfast as we always do on Sundays. Same place. We are sitting in a booth, waiting for our order. I wasn't paying any attention, just reading the newspaper. All of the sudden there is a big thud, this guy bumps into me and kind of crashes into me as he sits down. He looks at me and he has mucus coming out of his nose or mouth. People around are scattering. I told Carin to get up and leave.

I'm stuck. sitting next to the window. I'm yelling for someone to move the table so I can get out but nobody did. So I'm sitting there with my hand on this guy's back hoping he won't turn around and spit at me or something. One of the employees did a great job of trying to him to just leave and he said he couldn't get up. He wouldn't. Chicago police are called. They don't show up.

At this point I'm wondering wott to do. It would have been difficult to get out of where I was and crawl over a booth. So I just kept pushing this guy away and I really don't think he could feel anything. He finally got up and left.

Sat there for a moment to gather my thoughts. Then I see the guy outside and he takes off his clothes. Everything but his shoes. Moons the restaurant, leaves his clothes on the sidewalk and goes on his way.

The restaurant moved everyone and cleaned up. Ambulance shows up and finally the cops. I have no idea wott happened after that. Just for Sunday breakfast. 🙄

Miserable weather today, very windy, 40ish, steady drizzle. You'd think I was in London! Wink

No drizzle here, but it is very cold, the local lakes were still frozen on my afternoon stroll ... Time for a tot of rum to make sure there's not too much blood in my alcohol stream ...

Dreary Chicago day. I don't think we have seen the sun in forever. Seems like it anyway.

Got my new computer and I'm trying to set it up. I've never went from one to another and this was definitely necessary. New one seems to be running MUCH faster. Still need to try to download my hard drive files to the new one. I put them on zip drives but I can't find them so I have to go get a couple more tomorrow. I also want to make sure the programs on the old one will transfer over. I already pay for Microsoft Office for example so I would think that will transfer. itunes is another one. God I don't want do download all of my music again. That takes forever. Especially the audience shows.

Sang was very helpful answering my questions. He actually took my calls! Laugh

If you paid for Office, you should have an activation key.  Just download a fresh copy and use your key instead of copying over old stuff.

Super chilly here but we got only rain and no snow which is good. Had watched some concert video of Goose and found it fairly interesting. Bought and just now listening to their latest release "Dripfield." My overall impression of it is meh.

Only a light dusting of snow here but bloody cold (by our standards) ... -3C today ... roads are icy and I have a 3 hour drive to make on Friday to visit my kids & grandkids for an early Christmas celebration ... I think that may become a 4 hour drive to be on the safe side ...

Installing my new computer. A few files didn't come over so I have to do a work around on that. And I can't figure out how to move my iTunes over to the new one.
